About The Author:
Laurie Shimizu Ide, born and raised in Hawai'i, has been making and selling lei since she was 14 years old. At age twenty-iwo, she opened her own florist shop. Now, she works out of her home, spending time with her family. She is still active in lei making. Ide's B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawai'i combined with several Floral Arts certifications enables her to prosper at her lifelong love for floral design and lei making.
